Zip File Help

Hi Techie People,

I want a dripping blood type font for some halloween stuff, I've found a site where I can download them and they come as zip files.

If I download this file, how do I then get it in my font list so I can use it?

If it makes any difference, this is where I have found them:

If anyone knows of a better site with free fonts like that, please let me know.

Double click on the downloaded zip file and put the extracted ttf in c:\windows\fonts
 Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:

Zipped files are compressed, so you need to decompress them first.

If you have XP or higher, just double click to open the ZIP archive and drag out the items you want.

You need to move fonts to the Fonts folder (quickest way to open your fonts folder is Start>Settings>Control Panel>Fonts (XP and Win 2000)

    Hope that helps!

If you have an older operating system, download WinZip from http://www.winzip.com/index.htm

    Hope that helps.

Strictly, Winzip is only an evaluation version, so you are supposed to buy it after 45 days (I think it keeps working, but there is a reminder every time you start it). And the latest version only supports Win2000 onwards.
As we are all honest, money saving citizens ;) , why not try iZarc - it's really free, I believe it handles more formats than Winzip and is compatible with earlier windows versions.
