How to wipe tablet?

Mum got a free tablet with her new phone last year. It was set up with her facebook account and email. She doesn't use it as she has a laptop and a phone so when I said I was going to buy one she told me I could have hers instead of buying one myself.
I've brought it home and charged it up and it is showing her facebook etc. I know you can somehow wipe it to get rid of the information but I don't know how to do it.
I've looked in settings and there is an option to Back up and Reset, is this what I need to do?
I really am a novice with things like this so if anyone has any advice that would be great!

Go to settings and look for "Factory Reset", may be found under "Backup & Reset"0

Yes I've found one called Factory Data Reset, erases all data on tablet.
Should I click on it?:hello:  please play nicely children !0 -
Hi, you can just remove the relevant accounts under the accounts settings, or remove the relevant apps, but safest way is to reset fully using the factory reset option0

Because it was my mums I know it was only set up for her and then never used so there is very little stuff on it, just her email account and her facebook. I've managed to delete them and install my accounts and all is swell! It's saved me buying a new phone actually as all I wanted to use the tablet for is when we are out and about so I can use the free wifi without draining my phone battery. My phone is old but works fine so tablet will do the job nicely.
Thank you all for your input! I love this site!:T:T:T:hello:  please play nicely children !0
