Shares to transfer to beneficiaries

How can we transfer shares from late parents to some of my siblings? We have small numbers of shares in various companies and some of my siblings would like to own rather than sell them. How can we do this without it costing more than they are worth? I've tried to see what are still valid and what are no longer trading- but its a bit of a task. Compushare and equiniti both seem to have involvement in them. Thanks

for certificate based holdings deal with the registrars to do the transfer.
if the person that wants them is using a nominee account get them to check with their provider if there is anything they need.0
