    The driver then spoke to them on the phone, they advised there's nothing they can do as it is sub-let to the Smart Parking company.
    I'd be almost certain that that's a bs fob-off line. Why would Smart Parking be interested in sub-let, free to use, single store (I guess) small car park?

    No worries - beat them at POPLA.

    Yesterday Smart Parking withdrew the fine - thanks to the appeal process from POPLA.

    Thanks to all of you who helped me. Really appreciated. :)
