National 4pm Finish Day ?

http://www.companybug.com/happy-friday-has-become-happier-with-a-4pm-finish-being-a-new-phenomenon/

Never heard of this - not happening where I am. Are any companies letting you leave @ 4?

I suspect many of those who want to see this implemented wouldn't be so happy if all the staff in pubs, restuarants, shops etc were also allowed to finish at 4 on a Friday.

12.25pm for us on a Friday, although we do 8.5 hours on the other 4 days.

I finish at 4 every day, or should do, I frequently don't get out on time!

I've never had a job that has an early finish Friday.

I am at "work" right now, 6pm-6am... does this mean I can go home at 4am?:D

I worked at a place where core hours were 10.00 - 12.00 and 14.00 to 16.00 - if you had done your weekly hours at 15.30 on a Friday you were ok to leave.

Didn't make up for the job/company being crap though.

I thought Friday's were POETS' days anyway.

It sounds like a bit of a gimmick to me - my workplace finish half an hour earlier on a friday but the catch is we also start half an hour earlier on a friday.

I would not want a job where you end earlier on a friday if you have to work extra hours monday to thursday as there would be no net gain
