Woodborough Road, Mapperley Nottingham What's it Like?

I'm looking to move back to the Nottingham area to look after family. Does anyone know what Woodborough Road is like it's in Mapperley near Porchester Road? Nottingham house prices seem to be quite high compared to a few years ago. The house I am interested in is set back from the main road so traffic noise hopefully shouldn't be a problem.
Also looking at Sherwood but there's nothing I like in my budget. Ideally I don't want a house on a busy road as I've got cats that like to wander outside.
TIA

Woodborough road is very busy, one of the main routes into the city so probably not ideal if you have cats. Mapperley itself is nice though, but I would be looking at more residential streets, or at Sherwood like you said.0

Snowlady07 thanks Sherwood would be my first choice a few years ago I could have got a nice house in Osbourne Road but there's nothing in my price range. Yes, I worry about the road so it's probably not a good idea.
Knightstyle thanks I know the area quite well, so crime isn't too bad.0
