Boiler Not Turning on/no power

Hi,
So had a leak in my bathroom last month and it leaked into the kitchen.
Noticed my boiler hasn't been running recently. There are no lights on the unit or on the unit on the wall. The model is baxi solo 3 40 pf. i suspect the fuse needs replacing? Not really sure.
Any idea what the cost of repairing this would be or if i could do it?

Check the fuse board first - has a switch tripped? Is there one just for 'boiler/heating' ?
IF all ok, find where the power to the boiler comes from - it could be a fused spur outlet (and you can change the fuse for the same rating) or it could be plugged in (again, change fuse)
Investigate and report back

Try changing the fuse in the plug or more likely fuse spur, if the timer is in the kitchen it's probably a fuse spur next to it.0

I'd be inclined to check the consumer unit for a tripped circuit breaker first.crabbycrabcrab wrote: »Hi,

Are you saying you've had no hot water for a month?“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Read the Manuel about how to relight the pilot ?0 -
Had a read and you reset by turning a dial to the left wait 30 seconds then turn back up. Did nothing though0

Can you hear the fan running?0
-
I can
The light for the fan is on and so is the boiler light

I’m afraid you will need to get someone to fix it. After the fan runs sparking should take place, if it’s not sparking then it’s possibly a air pressure switch issue. It’s possible that the pcb has failed and that’s why the fuse went. It’s difficult to say much more with out being there to test.0
