I've replied on your Pepipoo thread as you posted the email address on there but not here....Is the email address correct to your knowledge Lamilad? Do I need to do any more on the MCOL website, or is it ok to leave defence section blank if submitting via email?
Unfortunately it was not the right address.0 -
I'd also point out that 8.1 and 8.1.3 say the same thing (but differently). But it's otherwise solid enough.0

Call the court, and resubmit. Dont delay.0

becoming increasingly irritated as not one of the numbers I have for the Court pick up, they all just ring out!!! no answer message, 'held in a queue' message, nothing just endless ringing until it cuts off.
Ive emailed CCBCAQ@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk
and received an email receipt
but need confirmation if this is the correct address!!!!
can anyone clarify this?0 -
finally got through, they said theyre having technical problems with telephone today.
They confirmed they had received the defence email.
Now Im panicking for a different reason - does the time limit (I applied for an extension) include the day it is served? So I received the Court documents on 18th Aug - was the 33 day limit up yesterday (19th Sept) or today (20th Sept)
The email receipt said any email received after 4pm is deemed served for the next day
I emailed the right address last night (19th Sept) but because it was after 4pm its classed as received today
So if I miscalculated and it was due yesterday Im in trouble..0 -
No youre not. Relax
Youre only in trouble if, somehow, the claimant has already filed for a default judgment. It isnt automatic.0 -
ah ok, thankyou nosferatu!
Was I right though, the 33 days is up today?0 -
I believe day 0 is date of issue, so it is 33 days with day 1 being the day after.0
