I own my flat, my girlfriend and I would one day like to buy a house together. She is not named on the flat.
Does anyone know what part or all of the second home stamp duty surcharge would apply if we bought together but I kept the flat for rental income?
Thanks!

read the guide, it is very simple, if you purchase together as joint owners and one of you already has a (retained) property then the higher rate SDLT applies to the WHOLE purchase price not just a part of ittb990221987 wrote: »I own my flat, my girlfriend and I would one day like to buy a house together.
