Phone Issue with o2

Hi All,
I wasn't sure if this should be input here or the phone section, however if it should me moved elsewhere please advise.
Long story short after two years of being on contract with o2 and enduring a faulty phone they supplied during this time, the Chief Executive's office agreed to give me a new phone with my new contract free of charge.
However one month in I reported some issues with it but never followed them up and after four months the phone was giving extreme trouble but I was advised that as it was a replacement from o2 its 3 month warranty was up.
I bit the bullet and sent my phone off to o2 to be fully repaired at a charge to myself. Two weeks later it was returned, o2 advised that I would not be charged as the phone was repaired outside of their SLA time. However I noticed the problem returning to my phone that had been there before, I complained to o2 and they have advised there is no record of my phone having been sent off to them (it was sent via one of their stores) and even if they could find a record they would only advise why it was not repaired but they would not be helping me any further.
Is there anything at all I can do? This final ruling is from the Chief Executive Office.
Thanks in advance

O2's obligations to you start from when you bought the original phone, which looks to be two and a half years ago. Any further rights would require you to provide a report stating the phone is inherently faulty. Even with that the retailer can make a deduction for the use you have had of the phone, which would be pretty high given the expected lifespan of a mobile phone.
My advice would be to write it off and take your business elsewhere.0
