Pre-pay Electricity Meter no display SSE energy (storm damage?)

Anybody have there PP meter blown with storms etc. Electricity is still flowing TG


Have to wait until late October 2017 (as busy) for a new meter and the agent wasn't sure what happens to charging etc. in the meantime.


It's an 'Actaris' Ace meter (quite old I think)




Questions......

Does it retain your balance (credit) and will it continue to deduct KWH unit charges in the background?
