Gas Safe ?

Our long term gas engineers are not registered with gas safe as a "limited company"
Should we be concerned ?

Does this mean that the company is breaking the law or is it just that it is covered but just not a Limited company ?
When I do a search on its gas safe registration number - it comes up with a blank !!

You don't need to be a limited company to be gas safe registered.


The gas safe registration number should not come up blank put the registration number into this page https://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/find-an-engineer/#checkabusiness

But first

Ask one of the engineers for their licence number, this is a personal number on their id card and check that to see if they are registered to a different company. It may be they are employed by a non gas safe registered company but they themselves may be personally registered.
