A PPC very rarely expose their chins in front of a Judge. Gladstones never attend, but more often than not a 'gun for hire' legal is sent.

Get there early, at least half an hour before, and check with the usher if they have sent anyone. If there is a representative, make sure you do not accept anything he or she might hand over to you. Politely refuse it and ask them to tell the Judge about what it is they are trying to pass you.

They are not sending anyone and if they do, suggest to the judge that as they haven't provided a Witness for the Witness Statement that their evidence is hearsay. As such it should either be discounted or taken as questionable.

There is no one to explain the photos and suggest to the judge that they are wasting valuable court time and cost. Ask that a) you are given your costs and b) under CPR 27.14 2(g) they make a further payment which you will donate to a legal charity (for those suffering from Gladstones claims)

Tell us that YOU sent your WS and evidence in time...? Hope so. Not the defence.

This morning, I received a letter from Gladstones stating that their client and the claimant (Parking Control Management) will not be attending the hearing and they have asked the Court to decide the claim in our client's absence based on the evidence submitted.

Someone lost one last week, even after getting that!

Yes all witness statements and defence submitted. Have confidence they basically lied saying I had no permit displayed which I did. Have the photographic evidence and the witness statement to prove that. Bunch of fraudulent chancers.

Went to court yesterday. Gladstones didn't show. Case dismissed in my favour and I was awarded costs, for Gladstones/PCM to pay within two weeks. What a waste of court time, my time and taxpayers' money.

Need some advice. Parking Control Management did not pay my costs as laid down by the above court case....they had to pay by end of day, yesterday. Well, no cheque arrived.

Do I give them a few days grace or just get on the phone to them on Monday morning, ask where is my money and inform them that daily interest will be charged to the debt until payment is made?

Write and ask for payment by return otherwise you will commence enforcement proceedings at their expense

Well after getting on their back and threatening them with daily interest on the debt, they have paid, albeit 6 days after the court ordered date.

Even though PCM were the claimants, it is Gladstones that paid the debt. Total scammers, most probably the same people......legalised fraud.
