The usual trick is to buy the wall units and sit them on legs on the floor, provided that they are as tall as the floor units.
IIRC B and Q is a good place to go. height and width of floor and wall units are the same.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
If you have access to a router and circular saw, you can generally shorten a standard unit.0

Ikea are 37cm, if that helps.
But cut the backs down is what we've done before.

We recently bought mereway kitchen units and these had the option of reduced depth base units of 300 mm.
got them from http://www.alarisavenue.co.uk/0 -
mereway and many others do a 300mm as standard also many of the ranges we do we can specify (nearly) and size of unit depth, see a local kitch specialsit and this should be no problem, mereway good if a little pricey0

Our kitchen came from national kitchens, who i gather supply mereway kitchens. They made us some custom depth units, at a small surcharge. I dont think they have the special sizes on their website though. Check it out at http://www.nationalkitchens.co.uk. Otherwise phone their office for prices.0
