Hi
Got a quote today from a builder for £1200
For the following:
Paint open plan living room and kitchen about 115m2
Remove 2 wall lights and plaster over
Install 2 ceiling lights
install 5 sockets and 3 switches
install new garden door.
Take off old thermostat and plaster over
Provided by me final colour, 2 lights, 5 sockets and 3 switches.
Does this sound about right? based around midlands

When you say install switches and sockets, do you mean new sockets where there weren't any before or changing the covers?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
