Hi, treated myself to a refurbished MacBook Air from Apple a while ago. Unfortunately the touchpad and keyboard have topped working (back light on keyboard working). Works perfectly with external keyboard & wireless mouse but really defeats the point of laptop. i'm NOT a techie. Have spent ages investigating this problem and it appears pretty common. Have tried many of the solutions offered but without success. Hate being beaten but think it needs a professional to check it out but before I take that route, has anyone any advice (in simple terms:)). Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
