What's the deal?
Book a trip via Travel broker Expedia before 31 October and you can get a free roaming sim card from Sim4travel, worth £30.
How do I get one
Book either a flight or a hotel (not car hire) via Expedia* and a sim4travel will automatically be added to your basket. The sim card's worth £20 and comes with £10 credit. Once you've made the booking your sim card will be sent to you within 10 days of your travel date.
Check Expedia is cheapest
Before booking your trip first check you can't get a cheaper deal elsewhere. Read the Cheap Flights and Cheap Hotels articles for a full cost cutting system. If the cheapest deal isn't less than £30 cheaper than Expedia, go for Expedia and bag the free sim.
What is a roaming sim card and do I need one?
Making calls when abroad using your usual mobile network can be very expensive but special travel sim cards can cut the cost substantially. For full details read the Cheapest Calls When You're Abroad.
* Using these links helps the site stay ad-free and free to use, as they’re ‘affiliated links’ which invisibly take you via commercial price comparison services like Moneysupermarket or Find, which then pay this site per click
You shouldn’t notice any difference, the links don’t impact the product at all and the editorial line (the things I write) is NEVER impacted by the revenue. If it isn’t possible to get an affiliate link for the best product, it is still recommended and still included. The following expedia.co.uk is an identical unaffiliated links provided for the sake of transparency. Click on the following link for more details on how this site's financed

Like several Forum members I cannot get straight answers from Sim4Travel about replacing a +423 number sim card which has credit on it. Plenty of promises but nobody ever comes back. This smells like a real scam in progress.
Martin should not be promoting this product until there is a thorough investigation of what is going on at this company. Don't spend money with Sim4Travel until these problems are sorted out.

If you hunt around you can find flights and hotels that are cheaper than expedia, www.greenbee.com for starters, you may find them more than 30 pounds cheaper, and if you go through www.quidco.com you can get a bit of cashback and with expedia featuring on watchdog, there is more of an incentive to go elsewhere.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Sim4travel replaced mine no problem
Edit: but mine didint have any credit on it , does this make a difference? On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0 -
Just received am email from Sim4Travel refusing to compensate me for costs incurred on my standard mobile because they could not get a replacement card to me in time for an Asian trip. No surprise there - Sim4travel seems to specialise in not living up to commitments to customers.
However, the following comment between colleagues inadvertently left in the email is revealing: -
"Another one wanting money back for using his other mobile.
Think it needs a manager’s touch – I’m getting very fed up doing this!"
Get the feeling Sim4Travel has a bigger problem than its prepared to let on to?
Have to feel sorry for the customer services people at Sim4Travel - when is its management going to come out of the woodwork and address serious failures in customer service?
