The actual issue with the car is irrelevant as that is going down a different portal, and it is far too complicated to post on her. At the time of getting insurance involved the fire men believed it was electrical fault (it still might be I just don't know yet).
Just after advice on the insurance with no courtesy car issue, when online and advisor stated it was included.99.9% of my posts include sarcasm!Touch my bum :money:Tesco - £1000 , Carpet - £20, Barclaycard - £50, HSBC - £50 + Car - £1700SAVED =£0Debts - £28500 -

Cancel and go elsewhere for cover that suits your needs (and read the documents when you get them).
So no advice on being told by computer and person that courtesy car was included in my policy?99.9% of my posts include sarcasm!Touch my bum :money:Tesco - £1000 , Carpet - £20, Barclaycard - £50, HSBC - £50 + Car - £1700SAVED =£0Debts - £28500 -

You said it wasn't on the computer.
They can't find the call.
Your docs say not included (which agrees the online function).
You can put in a complaint but do you want to remain with them?0 -

Likelihood is courtesy car is on your policy, but they'd only give it to you if it was a claim where they could recover the cost of that hire from a third-party. So what you were told was factual, albeit open to misinterpretation (a.k.a. sales patter)
The add-on would have given you a courtesy car even if the accident was your fault0
