To mark the opening, we've teamed up with Hoppers to give away a week-long holiday in Sri Lanka in May 2018, to give two people the chance to immerse themselves completely in the food, drink and culture of the island.
The prize is a magical whirl of a trip; it includes two nights' accommodation in a safari-style tented Cocoon Suite at the brand-new super-luxe Wild Coast Tented Lodge, on a full-board basis - plus two game drives per day, exploring the more remote regions of Yala National Park and seeking elephant and leopard.
Then there's a three-night stay in a master suite at the incredible Cape Weligama on Sri Lanka's serene south coast. The beachfront location is famed for whale-watching and surfing; and with two restaurants, a stunning spa and an infinity pool, there's plenty to do within the hotel, too. The prize also includes two nights at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo, set to be capital's hottest new five-star place to stay when it opens in November on the seafront, with views out across Galle Face to the ocean.
Return flights are with SriLankan Airlines from London Heathrow to Colombo. All car transfers to the Resplendent Ceylon properties are included. The winner and their guest can also visit the Lion Brewery in Colombo, where Lion Lager, Sri Lanka's number-one-selling beer for more than 150 years, is made.
