Applepaws Senior Wet Food

Options
Does anyone use it?

Delilah is 14 and due to cystitis vet said no more dried food. She was on Royal Canine 12+ but now trying to find a good quality wet food. At the moment its Sheba but they don't do a senior version, don't trust the Felix or Whiskers ones.

There seems to be much more choice with senior dried foods, wet is a problem for me. I can bulk buy the Applepaws' tinned at a good price and work out cheaper than buying boxes of Sheba.

    Why buy senior?

Applaws is a treat, it is not a complete food unless you buy the pate. Sheba is just as junky and poor quality as felix etc.

    Some good wet foods are
    Bozita (tins not tetrapacks)
    Animonda
    Grau
    Granatapet
    Catz fine food
    On nom nom
    Macs
    Ropocat
    Smilla

I buy senior because its aimed at ageing cats extra vitamins and supplements for joins, kidneys etc. That is why I want to stop the Sheba, the vet did not offer suggestions for special diet food just said feed wet. When I used the Royal Canine she just got some Sheba as a treat, in the morning.

Never heard of any of the brands you mention? I am in Northern Ireland so that could be the reason? No transport so Sainsbury and no pet shops within miles of me.

Yes, it is the pate I bought to try. I had loyalty money for Pet Supermarket where I used to buy my Royal Canine.

Now found the James Wellbeloved senior for the next time.

Oh have found some of them. But Zooplus charge £7.99 for shipping to N.I so a no.
