How do co executors go about opening a probate bank account if one is bankrupt? Can one open the account without the other?

I could well be wrong but I understood a bankrupt could not be an executor (or it may just be unwise). Also are you sure that you will need an executors account?0

I understand they cannot inherit but there is very little to stop them acting as an executor. Having read on here how difficult it can be to open an executor's account, I wonder if ordinary accounts make more sense.I could well be wrong but I understood a bankrupt could not be an executor (or it may just be unwise). The bankrupt should resign their post and not apply for probate. Why do you need an executor's bank account?0
