HELP - freeview not working on new TV

I have just got a new TV and am having difficulty getting my Freeview box to work.

I can get sound and picture from the TV alone but when I switch my freeview on I can get sound from the TV and a blue screen.

Here is my wire configuration.

External aerial – into the freeview box and then out of freeview in to TV

Scart – TV to Freeview.

Apart from the 2 power cables that is all I have.

Help me to find out what I have done wrong.

    Which TV have you got?
    Which freeview box is it?

    Try taking the aerial from the freeview to the TV out, the scart will do that work

    Then tune TV until you find the freeview on screen. I think that sounds about right.

    With scart there is no tuning (only RF modulated freeview boxes can be tuned into tv anyway), it comes through one of the AV channels.

    Just tried it and nothing! even lost the 1 -5 channels


    There are only 2 power cables, 2 aerial leads and a scart.

    Why is it not working?:mad:

    It would help if you could give us the make and models of the freeview and TV
