Staying in Cardiff this weekend!! urgent...

Hi Im running a cardiff half marathon at the weekend and looking for somewhere to stay from saturday to sunday this weekend. I want it to be as cheap as poss - for about 4 ppl but we are not fussed how we sleep - we have sleeping bags, and everything we need - we just need somewhere to sleep and shower after the run. Does anyone know of any free b&bs or hostels or anything please? Thanks very much.

The Etap Hotel is under £40 a room and is very new and very central. You might get 4 in a room - not sure, though.

the ibis and big sleep are other central hotels where you should be able to get a hotel for around £40 a night.

for B&Bs, your best bet is to search under the riverside or cathedral road are to be within walking distance of the city centre, or penarth is a short train/bus/taxi ride away and also has several b&bs
