I need to replace my shower tray & enclosure 800x800. So far I got only one quote for labour only £450 and I struggle to get anyone else to quote. To me this price seems excessive but have nothing to compare to. It does not inlclude potential retiling if tiles get damaged. I live in Greater London zone 4.
Pls let me know your thoughts on this quote.

A shower tray and enclosure is a two man job. The trays are heavy to position on your own and the enclosure can't be assembled with just one guy. And its normally spread over two days because of drying time over adhesives and mastics.
So £450 is on the moneyEat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
I was hoping it would not exceed £300 but I guess I have to pay London premium ;/
Many thanks for letting me know.0 -
