free laptop when you take microsoft training courses - eg msce

http://msstudentcampus.com/

Quote: Code CMM and get a free laptop when you sign up for a course

Was going to post this in freebie section but i didnt think it fitted in perfect because you do need to pay for the course I think, so if you aren't interesting in a career in IT not for you

They do sound good though, apparently they find you a job within 3 months of starting the course if you pass your units.

There are loads of these "specal offers" around, all offering to find you a job etc. Dont be fooled, think carefully. There are literally hundreds of applications for any IT job and no-one could possibly guarantee to get you in.

There isn't much info on the laptop and they'll turn you into an IT professional (whatever one of those is) in 45 days?

suspect it will be cheaper to buy a laptop, some books and go to uni part time...
Ever stop to think and forget to start again?
  • This is absolute rubbish and the thread needs to be closed. Jame Thorton Group which own the website and courses are con artists. A quick check on Google would have told you that. See Advertising Standards Authority link

having now been in and spoken to them it sounds pretty good

they have recruitment partners through which they find you a job - BT Open World - Pearson VUE - Cisco etc - it is easy to find a job for someone who is likely to get an msce or similar i imagine

if they dont find you a job within 3 months you dont have to pay for the course

if you are planning on taking an mcse this seems to be a damn good way of doing it

Because of schemes like this and boot camps, MCSE isn't even worth the paper that it is written on.

An MCSE will get you through an agency's initial weeding process (only because they stipulated MCSE in the ad) but unless you have some experience behind you, you are guaranteed to fail at the next step.
