i have found that gamestation do the 60gb console, 2 controllers, 2 games and 3 blu-ray films for £424.99 can anyone find this cheaper or a better/similar deal?

Dont buy anything till Wednesday, they are discontinuing the 60GB and bringing out a budget 40GB version for £299 and having a sale on the 60GB

thanks for this. i knew the 40gb was coming out but i don't want it because it does play ps2 games but i didn't think there would be a sale on the 60gb. thanks for this.

The 40GB version comes out tomorrow so it is worth checking the internet and stores for deals in the morning. I have been waiting for Sony to reduce the price and I’m also after the 60GB model because of the bargain deal. If I don’t get this version then I’ll settle for the 40GB one this week. I don’t expect it to be as difficult as securing a Nintendo Wii but I reckon the 60GB model will sell out by Xmas.


I have heard Virgin are selling the 60GB model with two games and an extra Sixaxis controller for £349.99 making it the best deal. I cannot confirm this so it is worth checking up.

It’s also worth checking Woolworths because they do good deals on console bundles. I got my Nintendo Wii for a good price there last year. There’s also a 10% discount coupon that expires on Friday.

For the 40GB model, Shopto.net are selling for £279.99. I think they are a reputable store but you will need to check-up on the internet to make sure.

I have done some searching and the best deal i can find for tomorrow is..

blockbusters 40gb ps3 with FIFA 2008 game £299 BARGAIN?

also check virgin stores tomorrow as i beleive they will do a deal.

oh and as said above woolworths do some good deals on console bundles no doubt they will throw in a game for 299 also.

Many places are now doing deals at £350. At Currys you get 2 games and the console (including the controller) for £350. Is there any deals that are around this price anywhere else?

Woolworths is the same but you can choose any 2 games for a selected range.
