    Hi all,

I popped in to Fistral car park over the Easter holidays. I parked up for 20 minutes or so, then drove off again. Didn’t get a ticket as I thought it was a Pay & Display & I had a passenger who could move the car if necessary.
In the post today I have had a parking charge notice from Initial Parking. £60 if paid within 14 days.

I was wondering if I have a leg to stand on & it’s worth an appeal? I’d rather not fork out the £60 if I can.

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Thank you

    LOL!

They have been cancelling these within an hour of seeing our template forum appeal!

Search the forum for Fistral Initial and read the NEWBIES thread (no links needed, see my signature below). The forum template does not need linking, it's in the NEWBIES 'sticky' thread at the top of this forum.

You won't even need your own thread as Initial will cancel so quickly!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • I too have had one of these notices, for driving in, parking for 20mins or so with someone left in the car, had a very quick look around and headed back out. Being a newbie I cannot find the sticky thread you speak of. Am on a iPhone not a laptop, not sure if that’s the reason? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  • Found it, sent the template. I will let you know the outcome.

I've now joined the club for this awful parking company PCN. We parked just after 6pm according to our phones (wife has iphone, I have S10), however my charge shows a few minutes before 6pm.

    Can I appeal this?

    Thanks
