I thought the new star gift started on a Friday, but it looks today as if they have started the Friday deals early. I wonder if that is because they have the special Christmas bonus today, spend £50 and get £10 in points?

The ones yesterday were only in selected stores. There is a nationwide one next Thursday with the same offer. Then there are two more planned in before Christmas but more may be added.

So yesterday I organised myself for early Christmas shopping, plus a couple of November birthday presents. I went on-line, because it was raining and I had already got soaked walking the dog. I ordered Yankee candle at £30; Champneys at £22.50 and 3 Laura Ashley advent calendar on 3 for 2. My shopping was £132.50 a saving of £92.50. 2000 points for spending over £60 online twice. I used the £8 of points when you spend over £90 online, that gave me 2801 in bonus points plus the 528 for the oginal purchase. Total of 3329. Feeling very pleased with myself. 3 Christmas presents sorted; 2 birthday presents sorted and £33 to spend on myself in the sale. :rotfl::rotfl::beer:

Main star gift is the Misguided Casino Queen that was delayed due to the Las Vegas shooting. Usually the gifts get better week on week but this feels like a gift that belonged in week 2 rather than week 5. It is down fro£40 to £20.
