Can you pay for the connection charge in monthly instalments or have you got to pay a one off fee ? bt by the way.

  • £120 for connection to BT? Is that right? - I'd appreciate any help with this also.

They used to allow you to split the cost over the first 4 quarterly bills - but I can't find a link to that at the moment.

    £124.99 - see HERE.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

With the new system you can only spread the connection charge if you pay by direct debit, ask for the monthly payment plan and you can spread over anything up to 12 months.
