Sorry, may I ask a question ? If the driver parked but received an "invoice" with " parked without the permission of the landowner on private property ", no contract could be formed, therefore isn't this a Trespass and only the landowner could take this to court ?Started my job at the bottom and liked it0

Correct - search the forum for 'forbidding signs', also Google search on 'Parking Prankster forbidding signs' where you'll find a number of reported court cases where judges have confirmed this. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Guys
I have recently received confirmation from POPLA that my appeal has been won and ZZPS have just written to me saying they have been instructed to close my account.
I would therefore really like to thank you for this forum and in particular Guys Dad, Umkomaas, DoaM and Coupon mad for their individual help.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell others that at the outset it is extremely daunting because there is a lot to read and get your head around, then part way through you then start to feel that if you added up the amount of hours that you have spent appealing this you would have been better off paying the fine, but once you win your appeal you definitely feel that it was worth it.
Thank you0 -
There you go, great win, and pleased to have been of help - thanks for the credit.
Could you tell us on what basis did the POPLA Assessor find for you please? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Elite didn't bother submitting any evidence! I guess they knew they would be wasting their time.0
