Car damage from house tile - which insurance pays?

We had a roof tile blow off and damage the bonnet of husbands new Maserati Levante. He is very unhappy!
He has no claims protection on the car, and we have an Aviva Prestige buildings insurance policy. Which would be the best insurance to claim off?
Don't want to call them just yet as I know some insurance companies penalise you for something that might lead to a claim even if you don't claim!
Thanks for any advice...

If he claims off his car insurance he will pay his excess
Whether protected or not no NCD will be awarded for the current policy year
Going forward he will have a fault claim to disclose when getting cover over the next 4/5 years.0 -
Your home insurance policy will not cover damage to the car. So if you want to claim, car insurance is the only option.0

As above, I'd not expect your home insurance to pay for damage to your own car. You're (including your husband) not a third party, so the home insurer isn't liable.0
