A cash price £1k less than 0% finance price..!!! Definitely not legal. One of the major sofa companies used to do this and TS got involved.
Quite simply if they offer a lower price for cash then they can't legitimately claim to offer free finance because it's not free0 -

Of course, there's always the "Oh, umm, what's the first excuse can we think of?" possibility, when challenged over why it was advertised elsewhere for a lower price than had just been agreed.0

What have you got in writing? Only being able to claim that a salesman said something is very little evidence to work with.0
