There's two solicitor executors named on a Will. Executors are referred to by name and company name. One of the executor is now retired/moved on but the solicitor firm still exist. Is this executor still valid or will the other one (the one that still exist) take sole responsibility?

It's still valid as long as they are alive. However if they are retired it's likely they will allow the other to act alone.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

One will act, the other will 'reserve their right to act'0

Thank you. So we will still need to get in touch with the retired solicitor. What if we can't locate him?0
