5 month gas meter reading

Hi,

I have just submitted my first gas meter reading in 5 months and it has increased by 182 units from 02102 to 02284. My question is does this reading seem normal? If you need any other info please ask.

Depending on what you use gas for seems reasonable, about 1.2 units / 14 kWh a day.

Yeah it's a metric meter, thank you very much

We use it for heating (not very often), shower and hot water mainly just to do washing up. Thank you for your help

I suggest you start doing it monthly so you can see how your consumption will increase over the winter and you can keep an eye on your bills

Agree with this. Never leave the billing up to the provider.

Also for awhile keep a rough journal of what you use and when on a day to day basis. You can then see where you can see any savings you can make to the way you use your Gas.

The above advice can be used to gain future savings on any utility or other bill you pay, even you grocery bill
