The laybys are closed to prevent pedestrians getting access to the bridge. The bridge is a well known suicide spot.0

It sounds stupid to me. Closing laybys will not reduce the risk of suicide, probably just cause them to stop their car on the bridge resuling in more traffic disruptionChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
