Gladstones - Do I need to worry?

Hi
I'm glad to see you guys are still helping fight these unjust parking charges. The forum helped me a couple of years ago to successfully fight a scam invoice - so thanks for that. Unfortunately I need advice again. A family member has been invoiced by Legion PLC. Naively the family member identified themselves by name by appealing directly to the PCN issuer - no POPLA appeal was made. The family member is working abroad. They have received the usual threatening letters from DRP culminating in a letter from Gladstones, acting on behalf of Legion and DRP, asking payment to avoid any consideration of court action. The letter asks my family member to keep them updated as to their current address. Should we ignore them and wait to see if Gladstones escalate? Looking on BMPA insight Legion ( OCS Group) have had no court hearings in 2016 and 2017. Alternatively should I let them have the family member's address - in Greece - I'm pretty sure the civil court has no jurisdiction there?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

If the ref on the letter starts with '3' then it is in fact from DRP, not really from Solicitors.
Not at this stage if it's a fake Gladstones thing. Yes, if they get a real LBCCC.Alternatively should I let them have the family member's address - in Greece - I'm pretty sure the civil court has no jurisdiction there?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks Coupon-mad for your very prompt reply.
The Reference does indeed start with a 3. So DRP are impersonating solicitors - there is a Gladstone's logo on the letter. Aren't there rules about this?
I'll wait to see if we get an LBCCC.0 -
Possibly. Complain to the Solicitors. Regulation Authority about Gladstones allowing their paperwork to be used by a 3rd party debt collector in an attempt to mislead the consumer. So DRP are impersonating solicitors - there is a Gladstone's logo on the letter. Aren't there rules about this? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I think I will complain - the letter tells me to contact DRP and goes on to say 'Please do not make proposals to Gladstones solicitors as they may not be considered.'0

Surely not.Flatcappper wrote: »- the letter tells me to contact DRP...
Isn't the letter addressed to your family member in Greece?
Attention to this sort of detail is important.0
