Helping a friend with depression

Sorry to hear about your situation Peacefulwaters. It's laudible you'r taking it so well.
A MH challenge is something that creeps up on people without them even knowing it. Andrew your friend needs to speak to his GP. High dose vitamin D3, therapy, support from friends and family, eating healthy and excercise are far better than any quick fix antidepressant. All the best.0 -
I follow a comedian called Ian Boldsworth (who used to use the stage name Ray Peacock) who has talked quite a lot about his mental health issues. Earlier this year he released a podcast called 'The Mental Podcast' (you can find it on Soundcloud and iTunes). The reason I've mentioned it is because in the first episode he talks to a close friend who supported him through depression and suicidal feelings to try to get someone else's perspective and find out how it affected them. The whole series can be quite overwhelming in places, but certainly you might relate to some of the discussion in that first episode.0

I'm just ignore the first bit where you talk about how successful you are which doesn't really seem relevant....
Just listen, that's what he needs. He doesn't need preaching to about what he's done wrong or how you do things he just needs some support. He is only 30.. my god he could have a good 50 so years of life so why you are talking like its the end of the world..this is probably why he thinks so too! You would be amazed how good it just does someone to get it all out and be heard without any judgement.Swagbuckling since Aug 2016 - Earnings so far.. £55.0
