Can employer make me work the hours extra from when I was booked off sick?

I shall do thanks. I have to say I am getting really stressed now. The doctors left part of a dressing in, got kinda wedged. had it removed today, very painful. No pain relief. only problem is now ear is bleeding again, and although I am contracted for 30 hours... they want me to do nearly 30 hours on top of the 12 I have done this week and 50 next week. I am at loathed to do this as I am supposed to be by their order finishing my apprenticeship next week but I actually booked friday on annual leave months ago but now my manager is saying its not in the diary and she has no record of it even though I remember her booking another persons annual leave for the week after at the time and she was so say about to do mine too. Ahh! so annoying.
