E: 06/09 Win a trip to Portugal for a culinary extravaganza at the Conrad Algarve
Sunday Times Where Was I? competition
The prize:
The winner and a guest will attend the Conrad Algarve’s Culinary Extravaganza (November 4-6), a three-day gathering of Michelin-starred chefs hosted by Heinz Beck at this sumptuous five-star hotel. The prize includes tickets for the Grand Opening Event — featuring signature dishes by the guest chefs — and the closing dinner, as well as accommodation on a B&B basis for five nights from November 4, and transfers.
If the winner can’t make those dates, the Conrad is offering a three-night stay, B&B, between October 1, 2017, and January 31, 2018, excluding public holidays and subject to availability.
Flights will be with Monarch, which flies direct to Faro from Birmingham, Gatwick, Leeds Bradford, Luton and Manchester.
Extra terms and conditions apply:
1 Flights are offered in a promotional class and may not be available on all dates on all flights during the prize validity period.
2 Hold luggage is not included in the prize and can be purchased separately at https://www.monarch.co.uk. Up to 10kg of hand baggage per person is included free of charge and may be taken into the cabin. The bag should be no bigger than 56cm x 40cm x 25cm. For further information about hand baggage restrictions, please refer to https://www.monarch.co.uk/faq/flights/baggage
3 The winner is responsible for all expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prize, such as, but not limited to, flight extras, in-flight meals, pre-allocated seats and transportation to and from the departure airport.
4 If Monarch fails to comply with this agreement, it is responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of Monarch’s breach of this agreement, or of Monarch’s negligence, or of Monarch’s fraud. However, Monarch is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of Monarch’s breach or if it was contemplated by both the winner and the airline at the time the parties entered into this agreement. The winner's statutory rights are not affected.
5 The prize may not be re-presented for any other prize draw or similar event.
6 Compensation under Regulation 261/2004, Montreal Convention, and any other applicable law is strictly excluded irrespective of the cause.
7 The prize winner must ensure that they have the correct travel documentation and any relevant visas. Such travel documentation is at the sole expense of the winner. Failure to be granted a visa and/or have the necessary travel documentation will result in the winner forfeiting the prize.
8 Flight terms and conditions apply and can be found at https://www.monarch.co.uk/terms/flights.
