    OP has so far only complained to the Child Trust Fund provider. It's they that have asked how much the OP wants. ;)

    So they have. The heading also suggests that this is the trust fund company's fault. I don't see how that can be since the company's bank processed the check.

    Well they've offered to cover the charges. So if I was you I'd accept that, and maybe at best ask for £25. It's really worth no more than that.
