just thought that I would mention how things panned out if it helps others.
The company were not contactable by phone....a voicemail and then it just goes dead. Eventually they replied to my email where i said that i wished to cancel the entire transaction and even told them they sounded unscrupulous and i had contacted my bank regarding their scam.
They said the order has been sent to their warehouse and they cannot stop an order once it has been sent. I should ask for a return authorisation number and details of return once i have received the products. Once they have received the returned products my order will be closed and no further billings will be made. (but i only had until the 25th of this month to do so or they would bill me for the £110 and cream that i do not want....AMAZING!!!)
(I did only stupidly order one `free sample` but they have put through two samples for the serum as well as the cream......if i was billed every month it would cost me around £110 !!! a month).
Barclaycard have been absolutely great. I explained the entire situation and they said that 2 amounts have come through for £4.95 (the cost of postage and packaging for the two samples) and they will be monitoring it and certainly will not allow any more transactions from this company......This evening i received a text from barclaycard saying.`We have monitored your account and the disputed transaction has come through. Dont worry, the transaction has been suspended and wont incur any interest. We will progress with your dispute and will be in touch within the next 7 working days`.
I am assuming that i will not now receive the samples and have to face sending them back etc as barclaycard will not pay these people and i shall not hear from them again...
It is nice to know that despite everything our banks really are helpful and so reputable when it comes to dealing with things like this...0 -

I'm a tad confused... if you cancelled the CPA, I'm unclear as to why they are saying a further amount has now been presented and "suspended" and they will progress the "dispute". There shouldn't really be any dispute about it....0 -
I initially rang barclaycard a short while after ordering the sample....barclaycard said it showed the two small amounts......but said they would monitor it .......(i am not sure....certainly they will not allow any more transactions from this company - the £110 a month they intend taking)...i think they are now disputing the two small payments for the samples with the company.
They have not asked for a further amount.0
