    KeithP,,,Yeh-that's the secret for a good marriage isn't it? lol {no man 2different places in 2 weeks}
    Anyway.......Have no credit card, using debit card.....is this still safe??
    So many scams around and this is the first time paying this amount on line....scarry!!!!!!Thanks people
  • I've used TA several times for holiday rentals and had no trouble. They were extremely helpful and understanding when I had to cancel a holiday at short notice due to the sudden death of my dad.

    I have a gite I rent through TA.

    The owner doesn't get the money until you have been in the place 24 hours - so you have time to complain if any issues.

    Remember you are paying for that privilege - my gite is £750 for a week coming direct to me - but TA will charge you closer to £900.

    A debit card does not offer as much protection as a credit card.
