Fire TV Stick

Due to Love Film closing, I have been offered a Fire TV stick at a reduced cost of £25.00 from Amazon.

Will I be able to use it in both the living room and the bedroom, or will I need to buy 2?.
Thanks,
Meg.

  • You would have to unplug and move it from room to room to use it in both places, or buy 2.

Yeah, we currently still have it though. It's not perfect, sometimes things don't work. The build we have has a Facebook group, website and forum where you can get help.

No Kodi is 100% legal .
But they are cracking down on unauthorized sources and streams that may be played through Kodi or other players .UK ISPs have had to block certain sites/ streams when football starts on a Saturday .

It can depend on who your internet provider is and the settings of the router etc. There is advise out there on how to get around issues. I am no expert myself. I think it's mainly football that they are trying to block, this is annoying if or when it affects us as we only want to watch our favourite team in their away matches which usually aren't on any uk channel. Kodi offers much more than just football.

They are actively taking down repos as well , two major players last month shut down .
Yes football the EPL are the ones targeting IPTV streams in the UK .

But my reply was to the question of cracking down on Kodi users as some people think Kodi is full of stuff . Its not its just a media player with no content at all . Users add content .

In theory users can be prosecuted for illegal downloads, but like TV detector vans, it is an toothless threat :-)

  • As well I think they're having a tilt at those who actually supply "Fully loaded" Kodi devices.
