Hope you enjoy it! We have never done this before either and am not quite sure if you have to be ready in your cars as soon as the boat docks.

Many thanks for your repies, but i have one more question (I said I was a control freak!).
With regards eating on board - is there just the one restaurant?
I've had a look on the P&O wedsite and it only mentions one.
My first thought is - how do they manage to feed up to 1300 passangers in one restaurant, my second was HOW MUCH???
We are travelling with 3 kids (one who is 16 and boy can he eat?!!), so even just breakfast in the Brasserie is going to cost a fortune...
Is there not a self-service eatery on board??0 -

We are doing this trip later in the year. It is good you asked as I did not realise you have to get there so early and was not going to bother booking the dinner but know now I should. I want to book with Tesco vouchers so I need to order them quickly.

Can you still get the bogof offer if you book with vouchers?
Let me know

The buffet restaurant is very large and often the ferry is not full and also everyone doesn't take the meals. we stopped taking the breakfast as it was far too early and just stopped later on for something. Yes you have to be in your car ready to get off as if you are not a queue builds up behind you and causes mayhem!travelover0
