Stamp Duty Payment

Hi guys.
I recently bought a flat in london and the stamp duty is £18000.
This weekend they are selling the remaining apartments with the stamp duty being paid by the developer.
As you can imagine this is a very bitter pill and I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem, and if so do I have any room for negotiation.
Please tell me your thoughts, all opinions very welcome,
Sam

Is the transaction finalised, completed and you now fully own the apartment ?0

What have you got to lose by trying? Seems like a no brainer to me, regardless of whether it works or not.0

Only reserved so far. Authority to exchange in the next week or so0

Sounds like you have nothing to lose and everything to gain...0

This is a worrying sign of they're effectively knocking 18k to get them shifted.
Being prepared to walk away if you don't get it knocked off too will help your negotiations.0 -
Even if they don't, you can pull out of this apartment and reserve another with the incentive. Can't imagine your reservation fee is more than £1000.0
