Don't know who the company is on my credit file

Hi,
I have a company called Hoist on my credit file but I don't know who they are it says the account was open in 2006 and last active in 2014 I remember having a few debt companies taking on different debts so I would of thought I'd have paid it off by now but I've never heard of the company. Can I write off to Experian and find out?
