Hi Martin,
I recently bought a car from a dealership 4 days before going away on Holiday. The car developed a major fault and had to go back to the dealership resulting in myself having to rent a car at £320. I have now rejected the car as it wasn't fit for purpose and the dealer has agreed to full refund but refuses to pay the costs of the hire car.
Do I have any rights to this?

Did you ask the dealership about borrowing a car or whether they would pay prior to renting a car?0 -
I doubt it.Do I have any rights to this?
If you hadn't bought the car that you've now rejected, I take it you'd have had to rent one to go on holiday anyway?0 -
Did you inform the dealer about the need for the car or your intention to rent a car or not?
If you simply returned the car to the dealer, went and rented a car without informing the dealer you needed a car then you might be on a hiding to nowhere.0
