Parking on my land

I kid you not, Sometime between 3 pm and 6pm last night someone parked a 65 plate BMW 5 series on our driveway, it is still there, and we cannot use out garage. It is lowering the tone of the neighbourhood as it is a bog standard 520i.
I have reported it to the police, who are attempting to contact the registered keeper, but there is little else they can do. However. it is over hanging a public footpath, possibly obstructing pedestrians, I have asked the council to remove it.
If it is still there in 28 days, can I keep it.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

God I would be fuming!
If our fat, lazy, blubber man neighbour parks his car slightly too close to my drive he gets the evil stare, or I purposely park one of our cars on the road so close to his rear end he can't get in the boot.
But that takes the biscuit, you don't think the driver has mistakenly parked on your drive having got the wrong address?0 -

And then push it onto a red route and leave it there.
(I suppose there is a small chance of a genuine mistake, someone hired out their drive and driver got the number wrong - wouldn't be the first time a BMW failed to take in a number such as a speed limit).Originally Posted by shortcrust

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Get some mates to bounce it out of the way. That's the simple non destructive way to produce a temporary solution.
Done it at a railway station before now and it is usually easy.0 -
