Registration check says car is a different colour than it actually is. Bad news?

Hi,
I am looking to buy a new car. I popped the reg into the app that I have got and it states that the car is bronze when in reality it is black. It also appears on the spec bit on the website too, but it isn't on the cars main page. Does this seem quite ominous or am I rading too much into it? I aim to contact the garage in the morning, but just wanted a bit of a heads up, you know?
Thank you

Probably a mistake by the DVLA when they were registering it. I'd a silver BMW 535d that was marked as GREEN on the V5C0

I bought a motorbike once, the V5 claimed it was yellow and ran on heavy oil (it was black)
It took a bit of to-ing & fro-ing to sort out, as the previous keeper didn't bother sorting it (the manufacturer never offered it in yellow, and it was obviously petrol)I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

Ask if it has had a respray. then ask for the paint code and see what that says.
When I bought my current car it was registered as a saloon when it was an estate. Easily sorted with DVLA.I don't like morning people. Or mornings. Or people.0 -
I'd say it's more likely to be an error by the dealer when entering the first registration details, my brand new red car was described as black on the first V5C that I got so I made the dealer get it updated.0

My V5C claims that the car is white, but it is invariably a grey/brown colour, except when it's been raining. The DVLA refuse to do anything about this though.0

VW used to be dreadful for very creative colour description that seldom matched what the car colour actually looked like IRL.0
