any help/advice would be much appreciated.
had DVR recorder and cameras installed earlier last year.
we have always viewed cameras on an IVMS 4500 mobile app.
its worked well until a few days ago the app stopped working on both iphones and Android.
Rang Hikvision they suggested because all stopped working suddenly it may be a Virgin Media problem and to check with them the port is open- rang virgin and did that, still not working
contacted TP-Link they advised rebooting and configuring the wifi extender.- did that still wont work.
tried deleting and reinstalling IVMS 4500 -still no joy
Ipad doesnt have a problem though,
only thing I can think is my phone register mode is HiDDNS- ipad is IP/Domain.
even tried IP/Domain on phone still no joy

What CCTV system have you got? Most of them you can just use any RTSP player from the Play Store to view the streams, not just the bundled software they came with.

Hikvision cameras and DVR. TP- Link extender for the wifi.
tried various apps from app store none work on phone.
its strange that android phone and a few iphones all stopped being able to view the cameras at the same time
    Thanks Neil Jones

Hikvision what? What's the model number of what you've got?
Assuming its the standard two ports that the Chinese CCTV cameras use, they probably want ports 554 and 34567 open.

Feed those numbers into the port fields here to check those ports are open:
